Alf Francis: Cooper Chief Mechanic
Cooper Chief Engineer is difficult! All the engineers/mechanics went on to own their own teams! Jack Brabham, Bruce McLaren, Ken Tyrrell, Ron Dennis and Bernie Ecclestone all worked for Cooper at some point!

Just found out that Eddie Strait designed some of the later Cooper models, so I'm going to put him as the Chief Engineer, for now at least.

This one's good, especially for earlier careers. It's in French, but I think it's fairly self-explanatory.

Derrick White: born on the 20th March 1929. Engineer at Cooper (F1) in the 1960s, chief engineer from 1965 and left the team for Honda (F1) in 1968.

Seems that Derrick White wasn't a bad choice after all, given that Cooper quit F1 in 1969.

How about Bob Tyrrell as Tyrrell commercial manager? There aren't many better options, seeing as Ken wheeled and dealed all the sponsorship himself.

While making this mod, I've once again been strongly reminded from that Formula One today is lightyears away from what it was sixty-fifty years ago. Or what do you say about this superathlete of the 50's?

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in and say i agree with the way the drivers were placed

I apologize that I haven't yet released this mod. Actually, I haven't even worked on this for a couple of weeks or so. I just don't have that motivation anymore which I had during the "wild times" (when I could finish a mod from scratch to completion in a matter of days). The good news is that I've now finished the driver database and assigned all driver pictures to line up correctly, and I've also made a few team liveries, so it shouldn't take that long anymore to finish this mod if I can only keep my motivation back up again.

Anyway, here's a few general observations about the mod:

• Drivers are generally assigned to teams where they've got the best results with, but in some cases I had to "break" this rule to get all of the teams have enough drivers.
• Every driver's salary is put to the minimum, to avoid teams going bankrupt when their drivers' combined salary could be about $20 million. Also, there's no pay drivers in this mod, despite some of the drivers included being such ones IRL.
• The non-pic slots are filled with legendary "failures". The current drivers are:
  Claudio Langes (most DNPQs without ever qualifying)
  Pedro Chaves (2nd most DNPQs without ever qualifying)
  Perry McCarthy (shortest GP debut ever, 18 meters!)
  Andrea de Cesaris (most entries and races without a win, most DNFs ever, most DNFs per season, most consecutive DNFs)
  Nick Heidfeld (most podiums and points without ever winning a race, at least so far)
  Piercarlo Ghinzani (least points per entry)
  Gabriele Tarquini (most DNPQs/DNQs ever)
  Dave Kennedy (most DNQs without ever qualifying)
  Arturo Merzario (most DNQs ever)
  Luca Badoer (most entries and races without ever scoring a point)
  Lella Lombardi (least points ever)
  Masami Kuwashima (shortest F1 career ever)
  Paul Belmondo (Most DNQs in a season)
  Jan Lammers (comeback "king")

Actually, I can provide you with a "beta" version right now. I call it beta because, even if I can't think of anything to edit there anymore, more eyes spot more errors and more brains make more ideas. The Beta session will be closed on 1st May (or near after that day in case I'm not home then), after which I'll release the final version of the mod.
